Yesterday we were participating in a press showroom in Paris together with some other Scandinavian brands. The event was held in a photo studio in the Marais quarters.

The Swedish “chef of the year” were serving some Swedish classics such as gubbröra, löjrom and snaps and Swedish music (as the Knife, Robyn, Mando Diao etc.) were played throughout the day.

Here´s some pictures of the studio, our super great agent Anthony helping out with the steaming, some random people and the studio cat. The cat was spotted several times during the day with it’s paws in a gold fish bowl and when sharpening it’s claws on a borrowed Claesson Koivisto Rune leather sofa.

Girly or not, the secret department at Cheap Monday has got a nail art frenzy. With super cool nail salons popping up all around Europe like the WAH salon in London. There’s a lot of inspiration and new techniques making it possible for almost anyone to have some daring claws. Things are heating up around the hand area.

Alexander McQueen had ‘em on their catwalk models during their 2011 spring/summer show. Lady Gaga and Rihanna both use them frequently.

Our friend Sandra came by with the latest Minx-equipment and a lot of motifs to choose from.

The Beach House gig last night at Debaser Medis in Stockholm was fantastic, especially Victoria Legrand’s voice and headbanging. We like it!
