We at the Cheap Monday office want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Here is a little something that makes us get into the christmas spirit.

We got a mail some days ago from a guy named Louis with a brand new tattoo!

On last weeks Birthday Party for our store in Copenhagen I think we managed to bake the biggest Cheap cake ever made!

It weight around 150 kg and had an area of 4 squaremeters. Check out some prep pictures and the final result.

It was these lovely ladies from Kage Kompaniet in Copenhagen who baked it!

Karin from the design department has been kind enough to welcome us to her crib!

Sofie at our PR department caught the earliest flight to Copenhagen this morning to start the final prep for Thursdays’ big happening.

She sent us a bief report from a cold, grey and snowy Copenhagen where she is running between the store and Culture Box, and in between, adding a final touch to the scull cake.

Yesterday we checked out Djuna Barnes playing at a club in Stockholm to get in the mood for next Thursdays occassion. Djuna is doing a set on the after party following our 1 year Birthday celebration of the Cheap Monday Store in Copenhagen. We shot a short video clip so you can catch a glimpse of what will come.

It was Thanksgiving in the States last week. During Thanksgiving it’s a tradition to share what you are thankful for. Here at the office our American design intern Andy asked everyone in the office which Cheap Monday Jeans fit they were most thankful for and why…here is what they said:

From the Design department:

Örjan likes “Tight!”

Karin is thankful for Second Skin…”because they fit like a…. Second Skin”

Calle is thankful for Tight …”because I’ve been wearing them everyday all day for six years”

Stefan also likes Tight…”because they are the most metal!”

Valle also likes Tight…”because they age strange, but I like it!”

Peter likes Tor tee… “because I don’t wear trousers!” :P

Daniel is thankful for Five…”good fit, that’s it”

Johanna likes all the styles… “I’m a chameleon, my favorite changes with my mood!”

Andy herself is grateful for Between…”they’re perfect fit to cover my ass!”

From the Production department:

Gabbie likes Second Skin…”I like the tight fit and they are SUPER comfy”

Lisa gave thanks for Lady Anti stating that they are simply “the best fit ever made”

Hanna couldn’t pick one favorite!  She likes both Second Skin and Between as they give her… “the ultimate fit”

Sofia is grateful for Lady Anti…”because they are so f*#kin nice!”

Marja thanks Between and says…”the higher the better”

Kattis is thankful for Lady Anti because… “they are so lady-like”

Marinette’s favorite are also Second Skin…since they are “the perfect height for jeans”

From the PR Department:

Sofie gave thanks for Second Skin… “because they feel like I’m not wearing pants” ;)

Sara was torn between two favorite styles, Lady Anti because…”they give me the perfect anti-fit” and Tight… “because they are the original and ultimate model, they fit great!  and if you don’t believe me come check out my ass!”

And last but not least, Håkan the business brains behind our operation likes Five… “because they fit like a glove”
