To all of you in the northern hemisphere hope you are enjoying some super sunny summer weather! The Cheap Monday office can’t complain as the weather in Stockholm is hot hot hot! We are all dying to lay in the sun and go for a swim… but but fashion comes first!

Many of us will start our vacations from next week! Some of us are heading to various destinations around Sweden, while others venture to Sardinia, the Riviera, Spain, and the USA. And while we are very excited to start wearing Cheap Monday’s Autumn Winter 2011 collection (in stores from August!). We will fist be living in our bathing suits – Oksana and Tom ;)

Here comes a another concert tip off for all you music-lovers! A cool Swedish Berlin-based band that are in Stockholm and live tonight at Sodra Bar for your listening pleasure… It ain’t easy to pinpoint the exact musical genre, but judge for yourself by listening here: SAIGON!

Finally festival season is here! If you are in Stockholm and feel like moving your feet, our weekend tip-off is: DANS DAKAR.

Dans Dakar is a one-day music festival located on the campus of Stockholm University. On Saturday June 4th there will be a 12-hour party with an amazing line-up: Crystal Castles, Boys Noize, Tiga, Trentemöller, Andreas Tilliander, Logo, Diskjokke, Maskinen, Retro/Grade, Kornel Kovacs, Skudge and Sail a Whale and many more.´

The festival starts tonight with a pre-party at Strand 9PM-3AM, with 6 dj-acts playing; Style Of Eye, Svenska Björnstammen, Boeoes Kaelstigen, Festa Med Killar, Oscar Wedrén och La Petite Putain. The first 20 people who RSVP to fredrik@monstera.se before 6PM and like Dans Dakar here, get a free entrance and a beer ticket.  ´
